Pope Francis is holding a ceremony to raise Mother Teresa to sainthood on the eve of the 19th anniversary of her death in 1997. Hundreds of thousands of people are watching the ceremony of canonisation. Mother Teresa was born in Macedonia in 1910. She founded the Missionaries of Charity religious congregation that had nearly 4,000 nuns and ran hundreds of shelters, clinics and orphanages around the world.
