Hundreds of people took to the streets of Ankara to pay tribute to the victims of a double suicide bombing that took place a year ago. Clashes with police ensued when 60 activists trying to enter the area where the memorial was taking place were stopped by police. Some 1,700 officers, mostly in riot gear, had been deployed to maintain order.
